Meet Miss Johnson County: Emily Cross

On Saturday, July 12th, our 83rd Queen Elberta/Miss Johnson County 2026 was crowned at the Clarksville Fine Arts Center in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Emily June Cross, the 20 year old daughter of Alice and Alan Cross, captured this prestigious title.

Emily garnered a total of $1700 in scholarship monies after being awarded: Overall Evening Gown, Overall Talent, Congeniality and Leadership awards. She is an upcoming Sophomore at Arkansas Tech University.

Her Community Service Initiative is titled: Soaring Voice: Empowering Education Through the Arts. She performed a vocal talent to "On My Own" from the musical Les Miserables.
